I'd go for a much less grand scheme, maybe putting that cab on a modified one-ton pickup chassis or build a custom frame and use one-ton running gear under it. It would lose a lot of the cool factor, but be much more streetable and practicable.

Well I am hoping super duty but I didn't dig into it too much because it was so cheap I would have bought it either way. It was from a shooting buddy of mine who has had it for a while and doesn't know anything about it. I have a mental image of what the engine looks like viewed from behind the cab. It has a rear mounted distributor at a slant. So at first look it may be a lincoln y block engine but I couldn't find any pictures online of the old super duty engines

The guy I got it from thinks its a 1963 but wasn't sure of that either lol But like I said before id buy it either way. Hell scrap value is probably double what I paid.

I think '63 was the last year for the Lincoln Y-block, so she could very well have one. They even put some 300-6 in those things.

no he is a hoarder to the max and was really hard to get him to come off the truck. Its taken weeks of bugging him.

its definitely a v8 and like I stated earlier the distributor is at the back and slanted. I know a y blocks dissy is like that but I couldnt find any pictures of an old super duty to see if it also was at the back and slanted
