Originally posted by CJ View PostI've dealt with that before as well. He was a friend of a friend. I sat down and spoke with him (he was an older man) and was able to make inroads with him regarding him getting older and the cars are wasting away. Once we touched on the fact that many of the cars only have a few more years in the elements before anyone could salvage them he also came to the conclusion. It was selfish to hold them any longer. He broke a few of his cars loose and sold them for a hefty profit (one was a nice COE truck actually). Since then I've driven by his place a few times and some of the cars he wanted to hold on to have fallen through the blocks holding them up. At least he saved a few of them."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

My uncle in Missouri has about 30 old cars, most are cars people would like to have. Old rancheros, chevelles and etc, he won't sell a one of them. I have tried for years to buy a couple off him and it won't happen. They are just sitting there. When you finally do talk him into giving you a price on one it is 3 times higher than it should be so no one will buy it anyways, it's just his way of keeping them.

I got some new pics of the truck today and I will be posting them up. It has C0-9245-F on the intake which tells me it is definitely a Y block engine but I am stumped on how to tell how many cubes the engine is. Anyone know the way to tell?2004 TR Mustang Mach 1 RIP
