My wife and I watched this, and several others like it last night. After that, we started the "top songs of XX decade" stuff. Pretty fun."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Nope, wasn't in there. I think that might be mostly a Texas thing though.
How did they miss: Aeon Flux/Liquid Television, Fucking Woodstock '94, The X-Files(know it came out in 93, but still it was hugely popular), and Real World Pedro asking "Did you stick your finger in the peanut butter?" Lisa Loeb was so hawt. Great video, a TON of that music is in my iTunes, pretty much EVERY alternative song played. 94 I was also a Senior in high school. 94/95 were the years I really grew up and discovered who I was. Great time for it.

I was in SoCal visiting when that hit, just before leaving to MO, then Korea. We were about 50 miles or so away, and while it didn't cause damage to my moms place, it sure as hell woke me up.
A friend of mine from Seattle was flying in that night to visit before I left, so although there was a curfew in effect, I still took her to Hollywood for some sightseeing. It was eerie there because nobody was on the street. I have never seen it like that before or since.
I'm still surprised I didn't get pulled over. We saw a number of cops, but they didn't seem to notice.

I still have a very serious case of nostalgia for the '90's. I sometimes wonder if it's unhealthy, but the music was awesome for the most part, tons of great movies, foxbodies ruled the streets and the LS1 came out as a challenger, street racing wasn't a felony, 9/11 and the National Security tripe that followed hadn't happened, you could walk in anywhere and they were hiring, if you knew about the internet you could make tons of money buying and selling stuff on it... Yeah, it's probably unhealthy. Oh well. Probably why I loved The Worlds End so much.

that was a scary ass year for me... My then girlfriend had our first kid and I was working some dead end job with no clue what to do with my life(career).
Come to think of it, I haven't looked back at my high school years in forever...fuck those years.
