Got to go fishing in Nassau, Captain JJ 424-425-7779.If you want to fish, always only talk to the captain on the boat, no one else or it will cost you double. Find the fishing boats, tell no one what you want, talk to the person on the boat only. Take some stainless hooks, a roll of 30 lb line and some weights. Shit on Nassau like that is 5x as much as in the states or more. Give that stuff to the captain. To ship stuff there is 80.00 for 4 dam lbs. Take as much as you can carry, even cheap reels, it will make a big difference in the fishing trip.

I hate cruise ships because from them steaming alongside watching us operate. After two months and no beer we used to wonder if we "fell" overboard we could get them to pick us up and have one before having to go back. I have spent years in Key West on detachment and it is very fun. Very expensive as well.

Don't have to worry about transportation, eating, drinking, where to stay, etc. I'm saving for a Disney Cruise next! I understand its not for some, and thats fine. I've not experienced the whole boat getting sick, that would suck.
Our 2nd cruise was on Royal Carribean Oasis of the Seas back in April 2012 and it was more of a relaxed atmosphere and the boat and entertainment were 10x better.
Our 3rd cruise was on Carnival Triumph also in 2012. We booked a "budget" trip with our kids. All 5 of us cruised for like $1200 to Cozumel. While the triumph is the lowest ship on the totem pole, for $1200 I wasn't complaining too much. My biggest issue on that cruise was that the shower temperature fluctuated too much, not constant hot or cold, more like scalding or freezing LOL.
We have booked the Disney cruise out of Florida for spring break and are taking our kids who are now 10, 10, and 13. We got it booked for $4100 which is only slightly more than a week at Disney was going to cost. Its a 4 night cruise to Key West and the Disney private island.
We love cruises! As said, once you are on board and have your bags in the room, you don't have anything to do, nowhere to be, no phone to answer, don't have to do any laundry or any of that crap. if you want to go see a show you can or if you want to sleep in your room all day, you can. Food is there 24x7 and all inclusive. When my wife and I did the Royal cruise, we went back to the room every day around noon or so for a "nap" then hit the adult area of the ship and hung out in the hot tub.Carl S.

I really liked Key West, the Sundowner squadron is based there and they kept doing flybys on the ship when we were coming in. It's pretty cool to see F-18s chasing F-14s with Soviet and Iranian paint jobs. Especially when they can fly supersonic.
Nassau is very nice but very expensive. Freeport sucked though, expensive and not really tourist friendly. They have a casino there and that's about it.
