What is going on here? 91coupemike vs another foxbody

This post isn't about the race, it's about what you think is going on with the car on the 1-2 shift. Started out at 20mph and I shift around 6200-6300 out of first.



The other car runs pretty good, just a 302 with a f303, gt40p and explorer intake. Notice his lack of hood hinges lol

It does this randomly and only when I'm getting on it. I was thinking it was fuel cut but I've expeirance fuel cut before and this seems different.

NOTE: I have a chip with a custom tune so the factory 6250 limit is no longer.

Ya his hood is weird, he bought it with a 4inch extended cowl lift off hood. And traded it for a 2 inch cowl and just picked up hinges from bluecouperedvert the other day.
