The $25,000 Fletcher Capstan table

I'm hoping 2k because that's all I would be willing to spend, wishful thinking

With current finances I probably wouldn't spend $2k on it, but if I did have the expendable income and appropriate space, I'd probably be willing to go as high as $5k, which is how I was thinking about it.

To get it to $2k I imagine it would require Ikea quality materials.

You guys are doing it wrong. Bribe that guy's secretary to tell you where all of them are, then make offers to buy them when the owners get tired of them. The kind of people those things sell to are always switching things around. My stepdad sold a table to a lady in Highland Park for $12k, then that lady got tired of it and gave it to the DMA. She never even used it for anything. She just put a vase on it and stuck it against a wall.

Better, but I just checked several sites that offer them, or somewhat similar capstan tables, and they all started fairly close to $50k and go to almost $100k.

Looks like it goes from about 6 or 8 all the way up to about 16 or so.

I like that idea, strategically place some LED's in there to showcase the movement, now that would be pimp. I really like the wood though, but I guess if you can lay down a coupe of stacks of high society on a one table, why not get two...
