If that link doesn't work just Google maps "McMurdo Station, Antarctica" and it will come up. Scott base is on the other side of the hill (all of the green buildings) it belongs to the Kiwis (New Zealand). Technically we are on Ross Island, New Zealand and not on the actual continent of Antarctica.
You can also follow the road that leaves the island and goes out to the two air fields 13 miles away.Comment

Skua.... a seagull that is smart and an asshole. They will sit outside of building 155 (where the galley is located) right in front of the exit like a boss. If you walk out with food (even if you try and tuck it in your coat - they know!) it will take off and start attacking you. All it wants you to do is to drop your food, which it will take off with.
And building 155 is the blue building... just for reference.Comment
