yes sir, home made travel limiters. They work just fine. Up to this picture I had not needed to limit it any tighter than 3". I took another inch out of it after this wheelstand and tightened up the front struts to 9.
Next pass resulted in a 1.27 sixty foot and 5.60@123 mph. 3105 lbs race weight, 417" SBF.
Here's the video of the wheelstand...

This is the first event where I saw the "candles lit" on my car. They were lit down track as well.Carl S.

Apparently doing things like this have unexected consequences LOL.
Actually this probably happened when I first started trying the radials and had bad wheel hop. Both rear axle tubes were tweaked, so I had to get the 9" ends cut off and welded on offset, but inline with the spool to get rid of some parasitic drag on the rear.
When they repaired the rear, I had them cut an inch off each side and when they went to slide the axles back in, they wouldn't go in. Turned out the splines were very slightly twisted. So I had to buy new Strange Hytuff 33 spline axles.
New axles installed. Rear narrowed 1". I should have measured it flange to flange, but I think overall it is coming in a little under 52". It was SN95 width before due to the SN95 brakes, Pyle Bros cut an extra inch off in the repairs. So now with the 15x10 with 7.5" backspace, they tuck inside the fender very nicely. I still have almost 2" of clearance inside (mini-tub), so I could go with a 15x12 rim and 8.5 backspace and still slightly tuck inside the fender lip and have room inside.
Thanks to Jacob aka 2Slow50, I picked up a new set of Aerospace Drag Brakes for the rear. The car has been hard to stop, so I'm hoping these will help and dropped 15.5 lbs overall from the factory SN95 brakes.
On with the pics...
Axles installed...
New brake kit, came with all the brackets. So if anyone needs some caliper brackets to fit on 9" ends for SN95 disc brakes I have the complete brake setup and brackets for sale.
Next stop, Chris' Car Doc to double check the alignment is still correct since the axles are moved a bit.Carl S.
