Exactly the reasoning why we are losing gun rights. It's not about your comfort. It's about a citizen's rights to carry if he wants. He had a concealed carry permit as well, apparently.

If that's the case, then my feelings are that I shouldn't have to pay any taxes, that welfare and all social assistance programs should end, and that everyone who commits thug like crimes should be shot in the street. In this case, the guy had every right to carry the gun plain and simple.

Lest you misunderstand the point of my post, I was stating that the complainant said the "felt uncomfortable" because of the gentleman carrying his weapon as such.

How is this any different than nearly every truck having gun racks in the back window like they did when I was growing up? I'd feel a hell of a lot more safe if there were more people walking around with rifles and shotguns. An armed society is a safe one.

Lol next time i see somebody walking down the road by my house with an ar strapped to him I'm not going to be suspicious of that at all. Cops get shot and killed all the time. Don't blame them. If he would have shut up it wouldn't have been a big deal.
