    Don't let the DFW 5.0 guys see this. Stock mustangs are not supposed to blow their motors up regardless of how much power its making.

      Haha, stock tune will pull timing, add fuel, etc. to protect the engine. A stock GT500 should be able to do 20 back to back pulls with nothing more than some reduced engine power and a little heat soak. I run my ZR1 for 20-30 minute track sessions and never had any issues because some higher coolant temps when it's hot outside (over 95F).

          I believe $20k is what an oem replacement engine cost for the '13-'14 Shelbys. That sucks...
