That's what happens when you do back to back to back pulls down the hwy with a blower car. Too much heat and it will eat a couple pistons..

Haha, stock tune will pull timing, add fuel, etc. to protect the engine. A stock GT500 should be able to do 20 back to back pulls with nothing more than some reduced engine power and a little heat soak. I run my ZR1 for 20-30 minute track sessions and never had any issues because some higher coolant temps when it's hot outside (over 95F).
