So I scored a ton of cool documents from the 1850's-70's from the Lunsford family out of Fulton County, KY, city of Hickman. I have been digging through various invoices, receipts, bill of ladings, and other farm-related documents pertaining to the sale of tobacco and hay and wheat and hogs, etc... Tonight I found an awesome note, written and signed by M.B. Highsmith, a captain in the '12th Tex Dragoons'. It outlines leaving a 'Negro boy named Stephen' in the possession of a Lunsford family member, so that he may be turned into the proper authorities... Interesting stuff.
Thought a couple of you dudes might like this stuff.
Oh.. Also bagged two early FDR autographs. Blind luck.
