    • I think I already posted this earlier. I've got an old Acura I plasti-dipped the chrome trim black on a couple years ago. I've been letting a friend "borrow" the car for an extended period. Saw it last week, shit is still holding up. Car has never really been garaged since the dip. So yeah, pretty fucking durable.

Yea I did the windshield trim on my foxbody because the black trim paint kept fading or flaking. Haven't had any issues in 2 years now.

IMO when red is done it looks like faded red paint. I don't think it looks real good. A few shades either way works though

I've got some here that I can spray a test shape with tomorrow and post pics.

                • shameless plug thread is inspirational

I'm a hair trigger away from painting a new project bronco camo tan.

It's currently tan with Black top & bumpers, I scored black wagon wheels for it, plan to add black fender flares to the front, headlight rings blacked out, sell it.

I have to do something about the paint. It started life tan, then someone sprayed it Red, then someone else sprayed it back to tan (but chipping/flaking/cancer/body work has marred that)... what could one more coat hurt?

                  what I'm working with:
Ronald Reagan:"Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

Homer: "Bart...there's 2 things I know about women. Never give them nicknames like "jumbo" or "boxcar" and always keep receipts...it makes you look like a business man."

Hell Yea! Spray it with 2 gallons of black as a base then 1 - 2g of camo tan.

I lied to you, my can of glossifier is empty.

I have just plain red, but wont have anymore gloss until next week.

                        • I think I'm going to do My 68 in a green similar to the first color on the S10, with wheels, bumpers, and chrome trim in black. Kind of the look of the F Bomb Camaro.
