I did that on mine - didn't start to deteriorate for a few years - the car was not a daily and was mixed garage storage/left outside.

I guess I'll be the stick in the mud here and say I don't really like it. Seems like a lot of cost and work for something that only lasts 6 months or so. Plus like already mentioned, it just looks like primer and when it's sprayed over dents and crappy bodywork it looks terrible.

I pulled stripes off my car and someone cut the vinyl around the scoop while it was on the car. Left some pretty good scratches in the paint. I've buffed and buffed and still there, was actually thinking of doing my hood, trunk and roof with this stuff. If it comes out ok I'll post pics.
