I'd love to see the details of a legit 7-figure sale of a Superbird. I don't believe it, especially a restored one. Why was it restored with such low mileage? I doubt it hits $400k at the auction.

That car, in that condition, un-restored will never depreciate. It is irreplaceable. It's like owning a Deusenberg or a Peerless or a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, or you name it. It doesn't matter if you can afford it or not, it's always worth the investment, and if it blows your skirt up, so much the better.

I said five years ago and I was referring to Mopars as a whole. Who knows what it will bring now. 5 years ago the Mopar scene was nuts. A 71 Hemi Cuda Vert went for 2.5 million (after buyers fees) so you never can tell when its something with this things stickers and history. Car may only see a half million but I would expect 800-900k.

To date the highest price for a Superbird was $501K I think. Because of this cars storage and papers it should have no problem bringing at least that.

One nut job thought his 70 was worth three million but was slapped with an ACV of $125K. LOL

Ha, all the anti-Mopar faggots can't stand it that those "ugly" musclecars are worth significantly more than the GM and Ford cars they worship. Sorry fellas, drop-top E-bodies and winged cars are always gonna be more desirable than comparable Camaros and Torinos.

              Suck it: http://www.hotrod.com/featuredvehicl...arracuda_hemi/

PS, my dad had the chance to buy a green/white/white '69 Daytona, 440-4 / auto, with a/c for $1500 in about 1981. Right before the market exploded, lol.

This could be the car for all I know.

I would sell my left testicle to own one of those. And the leftie is Paul's favorite!

What I worship doesn't make a difference. That car is, was, and always has been ugly as sin. I dig other old Mopars, but those were never appealing to me.
