It's 80 west of Odessa anyways, most if us run 88 or so just because there is nothing out here! The less time on the road the better!

So you only drive 50 on the highway?

I was referencing what's been bolded below. If you get caught speeding like that in the metroplex I bet they'll pull you over unless EVERYBODY is doing 85.

I generally stay 75 or below.

I like the areas in west Texas that have the 75mph limit, didn't know any had 85. In the 75 zones I usually run 5 over. Really, anything over 60 posted, I run 5 over.

Except when driving the Acura to Shreveport. In those cases I am frequently at about 100. One time I drove for almost a full hour over 100.

In a hurry to lose money I guess.

I hit a hog about that size doing 80 in an f250. Cut his ass in half. Fucked up the bumper and caused a radiator leak and that's it

I personally would not do much more than 80ish, but it would be nice to have the option to go faster. I prefer slower speeds due to fuel economy.

just how much difference do you see at 85 vs. 80?

Shit I seem to run into all the slow fucks that wont run over 40 on preston (55 posted) Same with the tollways, 5-10 under is all too common. I sure hope the 635/114 mess does some good

I find 80-85 to be a good cruising speed. It's feel comfortable in my stang and I don't feel that I'm going fast. 90 does feel excessive to me.
