  • New project car to flip

It finally came in from the shipper today. We are gonna get it running, throw some new carpet in it, paint hood and some other areas, put some wider white walls on it, and try to flip it. Its a 1965 T Bird, 390 v8 (motor is out of it right now), auto, clear title. The interior on this thing is cool as hell, its got a swing away steering wheel, power everything (that works), disk brakes, power steering, AC, etc. The more I look at it the more I like it. It even had the damn original owners manual in the center console.

I'd rather not broadcast what I paid since I plan on flipping it, but I'm in it at a great price.

Its crazy how much the designs and stylings have changed in almost 50 years. I think the back seat is pretty cool and the front bumper.

where did you get that from what city? I have buddy who has that same car sitting in his garage and had stuff stacked on it for the past 12+ years.

                  It came from Connecticut.

I never cared for those much, hahaa..

Fortunately they're fairly common and parts aren't too hard to find. I'd be looking for a replacement rear bumper.

Those whitewalls look "right" to me for a '64-66 car, but if you decide to get rid of them, let me know. I might be interested.
