    This.. It baffles me when I encounter them in Las Colinas during evening rush hour. Just seems like way too much of a risk with all of the shitty drivers out there. Not even addressing the issue of them inconveniencing hundreds of people so they can live out their Lance Armstrong fantasies.

    I really enjoy riding my bike, but these guys that ride down main roads are out of their minds. I will take trails with no cars any day over getting run over. If I do ride in town I stick to residential and I have still almost been hit several times while in a crosswalk with the right of way trying to cross a main road to get to the next neighborhood.

    Had a very similar thing happen but the guy rode the next 1.5 miles at a frantic pace trying to catch up to me. Bikes shouldn't be on the roadway IMO.

    We may have to share the road with bikes. However, it's like the "Pedestrians have the right a way" law - you really need to think about it if you're a ped, bicyclist, or on a motorcycle.

    Around here cyclists tend to impede traffic quite a bit. I finally had a chance to get around this one cyclist, I romped on it an was no where close to him, but apparently my loud exhaust scared the shit out of him. So he was flipping me off. He was riding by himself, no others.


    Its not about your right as a cyclist to ride in the middle of the road, it is about self preservation. One teenager or anybody texting that runs over your ass, really takes your rights off the table. Just sayin...
