I don't get why ford won't give us some bad ass components like big ass brakes and wide sticky tires...

Or why the GM cars at the dealerships perform so poorly compared to the ones they use in these tests?

GM, sending complete one-off cheater for comparisons since the 60's!

4 seconds faster, and 30k more expensive. Wants to compete against 911's and gtr's, when they both lap the 'ring faster than the z/28. (Gtr's at 7:18, and the 911 at 7:24)

Just the tires alone could make that much difference in lap times. Anybody serious in road racing won't have stock tires on it. If like to see a comparison on equal tires and see if its closer.

i like how the z/28 has 305mm tires on every corner.

Not so sure i would pay 65k for a camaro though.

I see a lot of times for both GTR and 911 behind the z/28. In the link you provided. You have to mention the 7:24 time is a gt2 rs @$250k that Porsche would never confirm with video or say if it was 100% factory.

No. But I work for Porsche so does that count?

No. . The 7:24 time was clocked by a magazine, so unless they sent the a ringer, I think we can assume its stock.

I'd like to see both cars with World Challenge spec Pirelli 305 slicks all the way around + proper alignment. I think they would be a lot closer, plus it would be more in line with what a road course enthusiast would do.

Oh because there's so many z/28 rolling around?

                              What a bogus statement.
