A guy that I used to know, who owned a business complex, was sued by someone who did the same thing. People will try and make a living off of trying to find curbs, mirrors, toilets, and light poles that are not to standard. They will get hurt or have an accident and sue the complex owner.

Post office in college station has a pole that was hit numerous times. Finally got knocked down and broke the base off at paving level. They painted remaining pole bases bright yellow...even the knocked over one laying on the ground (could not remove because of wiring). The one on the ground has been hit twice in a month. Put up cones and they have been hit too.
