I like, but it's not Bill

"Gavin Aung Than is a freelance cartoonist based in Melbourne, Australia. After working in the corporate graphic design industry for 8 years he quit his unfulfilling job at the end of 2011 to focus on his true passion, drawing cartoons. Gavin launched Zen Pencils at the start of 2012, a cartoon blog which adapts inspirational quotes into comic stories, and hasn’t looked back since."

Interesting, looks like Watterson wrote it though. Guy did a good job mimicking his work.

That's what I love about my job. It's shift work and I cannot work overtime unless it's an emergency. That also gives me the ability to leave my work at work. Love what I do 40 hours a week.

            Cool quote, cool comic...

I'm thankful every day that I was laid off in 09. I can't believe this month is the 4yr anniversary. First year and a half were crunchy... started hitting my stride summer of 11. It's been a great few years.

Props to those who can walk away from a stable gig. My hand was forced... much easier to make the decision when it's made for you

Please elaborate Cooter. What were you doing? Why did it end? What are you doing now?

                Oil field. Drilling slowed down.

These days I buy things for less than they're worth and sell them for more. Same thing I've been doing since I was a kid... "wheeler dealer", "horse trader", etc. Whatever you want to call it
