  • 2014 Impala smashes into 3 new Stingrays

    Ouch.

A prospective customer at a ride-and-drive event in Texas today put a brand new 2014 Chevy Impala into a row of brand new 2014 Corvettes, significantly damaging at least three of the vehicles. Oops.

No more details on this photo other than what's obvious in the picture, which is that the back of that new Impala found the front of those poor Corvettes. Perhaps the driver, who we're assured was not a journalist, mistook the brake pedal for the gas?

Ha! My son called me to tell me he was about to drive the Stingray when he was there. I was expecting a story like this at that time.

And they make this thing pretty simple/safe with Chevy staff being in the passenger seat.

      Oh well, can't fix stupid.

Guess they won't be at the fair next year.

That really sucks. Guess that is what insurance is for, I suppose.

I was really surprised by the number of vettes they had there yesterday. They had an issue a few years ago with a vette when someone drove it into a barrier.

The staff only drives with you in the vette the other cars you can drive by yourself or have a passenger.
