I didn't get screeched, but I did try some pretty good local brews at each stop. I also brought back some kettle cooked pickle chips from New Brunswick that are freaking awesome!

Looks like a fun trip. Princess Cruise lines? What ship did you cruise on?

I have always wanted to see New York just to cross if off the list and to see the memorials at Ground Zero.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Yes, it was the Caribbean Princess. It was nice, food was good, but a LOT of senior citizens. On another note, they have a decent casino, with a craps table. I ended up walking with $9xx from the table over the span of the week.

The Princess cruises are known for the seniors. Much older crowd then most cruise lines. We have met some interesting folks with cool stories to tell on the Princess boats we have been on. And the nice thing is, they don't have unsupervised snot nosed little shits running amuck and getting under foot.

                      Good haul on the craps.

Screach is like NS moon shine. Traditionally homemade, but there is a brand now.
                          Is like molasses.

"Newfoundland Screech is used in a non-obligatory ceremony known as the "screech-in". The "screech-in" is an optional ceremony performed on non-Newfoundlanders (known to Newfoundlanders as a "come from away" or "mainlander") involving a shot of screech, a short recitation and the kissing of a cod. It is often performed either in homes or more commonly in town pubs, such as George Street, St. John's. Most notable for their screech-in traditions would be Trapper John's and Christian's Bar. "
