No gauge, just used the idiot light and it never came on. Besides, we used Slick 50 in it for the first oil change. My cousin who helped me put the motor in has been working on dragsters for 5+ years and that is what they do on full blown race motors. Does anyone know how to push start a car with a C4 automatic? We got it going down the hill right out side the trailer park, but the motor never kicked over when I slipped it in D. We're going to try pulling it with my friends truck and get some more speed.

Pour some race gas in the intake and then get a 1/2" air ratchet and put it on the front crank pulley. The air ratchet will spin the motor over. Just make sure you have the air ratchet hooked to an air compressor.
