Honestly, what is insurance like on something like that? I mean collision has got to be a bitch. Unless it is Haggerty or something where you are limited where you can drive.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Lol, to answer all the questions, no I dont drive a train. Bought some good real estate, sold said real estate and I just figured what the hell, if I dont buy one now, I'll probably be post children when I get the chance to get another.

Wheels on the rear are just about even with the top of the fender (fender is at the widest point at the 12oclock position)..sticks out about a 1/4 inch or so on each side. I think it would look much better if I lower it, but thats down the list of things to do. Trying to go through and fix all the wrong things first. (date coded 1991 tires were at the top of the list) As for the original wheels. Im keeping them, but this is a euro car, and they're 390mm wheels. So the only tire option I have are the $571 each outdated as all hell Michelin TRXs from either Longstone Tyres or Coker Tire.

As for driving/riding better. Yes...much better. Wheel spacers in the front dont seem to quite work with the hub. There is one company that makes some that the ferrarichat guys claim work perfect..Im probably going to have to get on a waiting list for those.

Insurance for me..full coverage is $72/month. I'm 27 with a few speeding tickets. Car isn't particularly fast, and isn't valued much more than $35k.

Easily one of the coolest cars on the site man. Most of us in Gen X undoubtably had a poster of it on our wall next to a Countach. I know I did.

Thanks...I think it is one of the more iconic cars Ferrari ever made. Considering that one can be had for the price of a brand new Camry or Accord, I figured go for it. Hell, I guess you can say I'm early Gen Y, although my older brothers were early Gen X, so I too had a poster of this, and a Countach..and a Testarossa on my bedroom walls well into the 90s. I can say, unless you're 6'4, the car isn't a disappointment to drive (unlike the Countach and Testarossa stories I've heard).

When I was a kid, whenever someone would ask what I wanted to be when I grew up, I'd tell them I wanted to be a private investigator so I could have a red ferrari

So far not bad....Ive been told this and the 328 are the last ones that dont require the engine out for the dreaded timing belt service. I haven't run into anything yet that I cant do myself.

Usually the original owners of these things take care of the major shit before they sell them even if they have low miles on them and don't necessarily need them. I have wanted a Vintage Ferrari for forever. A guy that lived in my building in Houston had one that just sat and never moved and just collected dust, didn't even keep a cover on it. It was a sad site, although blue, it was still sweet.
