    Built Ford tough!

    Two weeks ago my best friend was driving my 2011 F150 ECSB when a truck coming the other direction lost control, over corrected and clipped a truck in front of mine. This hit caused him to slide sideways right into the path of my truck.

    My friend suffered a few bruises from the seat belt and a skinned nose from the air bags, the driver of the first truck hit suffered a broken femur and many cuts and bruises. The driver of the truck that caused this was instantly killed.

      Intake was busted in many pieces and the plate has both coils ruined along with the fittings broken off in it. The nozzle for the 2nd stage and solenoids were the only things I salvaged out of it besides my traction bars.

        Here is the replacement truck. It is a 2013 ECSB F150 5.0 w/ 3:55 LSD, basically the same exact truck as my red one just newer.

        I already have installed the traction bars along with a 2 1/2" true dual exhaust system, K&N cold air kit, a single wet kit jetted for 75 HP and a MPT tune. I haven't decided if I am gonna get as carried away with this truck as I did my other one.

            8.13 @ 87 MPH on the stock intake and a 100 shot, 7.44 @ 93.5 on the boss intake and 100 + 100 dual stage setup.

                That is a HELL of a hard hit. Make sure he gets thoroughly checked out. Could end up problems from it years from now.

                    Fuuuuuuk, It looks like your buddy should have died, just goes to show how good vehicles are made these days, especially full frame Ford pickups.
