From AFCO:
"This shock uses a remote reservoir and gas pressure to maintain relatively higher levels of pressure on the shock internals. This pressure keeps the shock oil from caviating (creating air bubbles) during high speed movements. The design also allows the use of a larger shock piston in a mono-tube arrangement. The larger piston provides more area and increases sensitivity."

I couldn't afford a set of $3000 shocks so I went with the next best and that is AFCO. I could give you my limited knowledge of why and how they work but I don't understand it enough to try and explain it where I wouldn't confuse you and me!! Lol Here is a snip it of some of the information I found from AFCO, the PENSKE site gives some good info too. If anyone else can elaborate further feel free. I feel like I will get to know why and learn a ton when we start tuning them. Mine have custom valving from TRZ Motorsports for hooking up on the street with radial applications.

I saw his and thought that it looked great and was a good idea. If something else needs to be welded to the chassis it will sure be easy to fix. I guess I owe you a thank you as well!! Thanks Jason!! Ha ha ha
