Being a biker does not mean you have to defend others' actions because they are bikers.
I too am a biker and can assure you that I am sick and tired of seeing idiots pull in front of a car and stop so that their friends may all join in the same lane with them. It puts the riders, the cagers, and all traffic behind them at risk all because a group of people think that they are "entitled" to the road more than another. Why can't they decide ahead of time on a road or path for a ride and meet at scheduled stops?
This idiotic behavior is causing society to not only see us in a negative light, but is dulling the reactions to accidents involved with motorcycles. Many have started campaigns to heighten awareness about a motorcycle presence on the roads, why would you support decisions made by morons that are diminishing the positivity of those types of campaigns?

Again we have no idea what actually happened prior to this video. Why would they be actively trying to get this person to stop? The guy in the SUV was not justified in his actions at all. We have no definitive proof that the bikers were or were not justified in trying to get him to pull over. I'm sure the truth will come out in the end and if I see evidence that shows where the "mob rule" phenomenon was in effect then I will be the first one to say all of the bikers involved were wrong and should be prosecuted. The current video that is posted does not show beyond a reasonable doubt that the driver of the suv should have felt in danger for his life or his families lives. Just because they slowed down in front of him does not justify his actions. Should the bikers have beat the man, no they should have helped keep track of his location and turned him into the authorities.

So only one biker in a crowd of 100+ bikes has a camera running and nobody captured the range rovers infraction? Sounds plausible. Clearly the guy driving his family down the highway is at fault and a pack of bikes is justified in closing down the highway and enforcing their own brands of justice for a violation that so far has no evidence.

He happened to be the car in the lane they wanted, they slowed to a stop and he misjudged breaking distance bumping into the rider who stopped and knocking him off his bike. The rest of the group quickly surrounded the vehicle.
A quick judgement call would tell you that they didn't all hop off their bikes to ask him for insurance information. I also highly doubt a man who could afford to drive him family around in a Rover is scared of an insurance claim...
