I am going solely off the original video posted and the accounts from people on TV that said the SUV driver hit a biker before the original video started. Why did they just single this guy out then?

Clearly the guy driving his family down the highway is at fault and a pack of bikes is justified in closing down the highway and enforcing their own brands of justice for a violation that so far has no evidence.

I am not saying that they were justified in issuing their own justice but no one here can prove that he didn't hit another biker before all of this. If in fact it all resulted in what is in the original video where he bumped the bike after the bike cut in front of him (almost hitting his bumper while moving over) and getting on the brakes, then yes I agree the bikers got what they deserve. My argument is that "if" he had hit a bike prior to this and left the scene (there are some alleged eye witnesses to that fact) and they were only trying to slow him down for authorities then I say the SUV guy got what he deserved. Make sense? I may not be totally informed on this but as far as I knew the original video was the only one depicting the whole situation and then I heard the accounts of the "hit and run" prior to the video.

He happened to be the car in the lane they wanted, they slowed to a stop and he misjudged breaking distance bumping into the rider who stopped and knocking him off his bike. The rest of the group quickly surrounded the vehicle.
A quick judgement call would tell you that they didn't all hop off their bikes to ask him for insurance information. I also highly doubt a man who could afford to drive him family around in a Rover is scared of an insurance claim...

If those are the circumstances that set this whole thing in motion then I will agree the bikers were dead wrong. What if it comes out that the SUV had hit one of them prior to this, then what would be your assessment of the situation?

In one of the articles posted it stated the dude was trying to slow the SUV down so his buddies could pass and ride next to each other. This lead to the SUV bumping the bike because he couldn't slow down fast enough.

"Slowing him down for the authorities" is not their job. In fact, it's illegal and clearly causes more problems. This is the logical fallacy in your argument.

Call me cynical, but of course there are alleged eye witnesses to that fact. The problem is that that report has no video evidence (up to this point) and only came out well after the fact when persons of interest were in serious CYA mode.

Even if the SUV made contact with a rider previous to the video evidence at hand, can he be blamed for continuing on? How do they know he wasn't headed to the police station? He called 911 when apparently no bikers had. Clearly stopping in the middle of 100+ motorcyclists proved dangerous to all involved in this instance either way.

Three things would allow me to believe this did not happen.
One. They were all cruising along until the pack began to change lanes. Many bikes were ahead of the SUV already.
Two. Only one bike was involved in the initial slow down of the vehicle, not a mob looking to pull them over to discuss a prior altercation.
Three. Once an altercation did happen speeds escalated and many surrounded the SUV.

If I am wrong, so be it. However, I did do more than just rely on the news to give my opinion to me.

Also, for the last f-ing time, the police have video from the WHOLE incident. Before, during after. They also have statements from a lot of other bikers, who are throwing the other bikers under the bus, or SUV in this case. Get over yourself, go learn the facts. I would have run them over also with what they were doing. I also would have thrown it in reverse when I got stuck in traffic. Then, those assaulting me would have a 9mm in their face. It is that simple.
