Me too, but then you'd have to flare the rear fenders to match. Would be cool though.

We may be talking about my dream wagon, now that you mention flared rear fenders. Mini-tubs and truck arm suspension would have to follow.

Someone needs to build this, stat! Not enough Capri love int eh world. Mine's too nice to cut up, but there are plenty of junkers out there to start with.

            Capri

My first fox body was an 82 Capri 5.0. That car is why I love fox bodies to this day. It was bright red with TRX suspension and was not an RS which made it different from most of the v8 capris on the road back then. I got it when I was 20 and 1986.

My current Fox is an '82 RS, completely stock and 100% original. 302, 2bbl, SROD 4 speed, Medium Gray Metallic with the porno red interior. 53,000 miles and still wearing correct date coded radiator hoses. It's fun, but I"m wanting something I can mod again.

It sounds nice. I'm with you I have to have something I can modify.

If I don't find someone to buy it (that will keep it as is), I'll end up dropping a new drivetrain in it eventually. Keep all the stock stuff, but drop a 331 and a T5 in there, and an 8.8 for sure. Keep it pretty stock looking I'm thinking, maybe a set of Welds, but that's it.
