          update,
My landing gear showed up the other day.

Real nice, good to 15lbs, and operates nice and slow!

I don’t have the wings done yet so I decided to scratch out a set of wing stubs to test mount the gear. Also I couldn't put the wings on unless I'm outside anyway!
I need to get correct size wheels, in order for the gear to clear the 14.5" props, but I'm liking the looks of things, even though it's still real rough right now.

Update! April 12th we are having our April Fools Fun Fly.
              We will be playing games:
Blackjack (spot landing on squares with numbers painted on them, trying to add up to 21.)

Grab Bag acrobatics (just like It sounds, you reach into a bag to pick acrobatic maneuvers, and are judged on how well you perform them.)

Shooters waltz (roll large dice, taxi your plane through a ground course, take off, loop, roll, land, then return to the dice and roll until you get the same number as the first roll.)

Golf Ball Drop (attach a dixi cup to your plane and carry a golf ball up into the air. You then drop the ball as close to a target as you can. Closest wins)

              Alternate event
Two Minute Touch and goes (just how it sounds you have two minutes to do as many touch and goes as you can.)

$5 to enter, $5 for lunch, FREE to watch!
Here are two of the planes I will be entering.
My old scratch built biplane rebuilt with a new nose and a stronger motor.

And my newest build, an 80” cargo plane roughly built on a C-27. Will be a power house, but also with the large flaps I’m making and big wing it should almost hover in a high alpha. Also has a huge bomb bay!!!

Am I correct in assuming that there are no cars in your garage?

You are not correct. My 84 Predator is in there. Along with a few planes.
I have a hobby room in the house where most of my planes are hangered.

Anyway, I maidened the “Barbie Bus) Saturday. It flew as good if not better than I'd hoped. It actually took no trim work once air born. And with the use of the flaps it flies so slow it almost stops in the air. I'll post some video soon as I get it uploaded tonight.

I built it to test out the KFm3 wing foil. So far I love it. It will look a little better by next weekend. I'm going to throw some detail wok and paint at it. I also have to finish the bomb bay doors.

                        • Form follows function, most of the time. I built this one to perform four specific tasks;
1: build fast, it took six days from design to maiden.
2: fly crazy slow, in an 8mph head wind with full flaps the plane was sitting still, yet I was able to adjust my position with rudder. This will make bomb drops exceptionally accurate!
3: spot landing-short takeoff, due to its high lift wing, radical flaps and grossly over powered motors, I can put it down, stop, and lift off again in roughly 1ft of runway space.
4: large payload bomb drop. The bomb bay is large enough to carry a loaf of bread!

                              • Got the bomb drop working last night. Damn this thing will hold a ton of stuff! I put 15 of those plastic Easter eggs in it and it was only 1/4 or so full. I will own the golf ball drop contest next weekend!
