    • Here's a quick video of Mondays maiden flight of v3 with a removable wing. This one fits in SUV's and even the trunk of my mustang if I lay the back seat down. I wanted to test if the removable wing could handle stressful flying, it can. It even handled the crash at the end. lol

I also started working on the giant flying school bus again. I am getting close to some taxi tests.

and just to show the size of this beast!

and just for fun, my wife took a picture with my girlfrind! lol

                • Let some of your club members know that if they like your 262 that I still have mine brand new that I wouldn't mind unloading. I have already done some upgrades and have upgraded parts for it. It's never been flown and I would make someone a great deal on it.

                  • I'll pass it along, what are you looking to get out of it?

                    • Probably stock price $200 I have $100 in hitec servos I'm sending with it and I have already balanced the fans and done a ton of soldering, done all the cooling mods, and bought some upgraded control rod tubes to stiffen them up. This plane can hit 100mph easy in a dive I hear and trying to pull put of it has resulted in a few crashes because the control rod for the elevator has buckled.

As or fight now this 75" bird tips the scales at 1.35lb, that’s batteries and all! I figure with covering and paint, she still won't break 1.5lb.
Well the damn thing flies! Took it out a few weeks ago to try and maiden it, but one of the speed controllers crapped out while bench testing. So I replaced it, and tried again. Had a friend toss it for me and away she went. Flew real nice and scale, and for a good 8-10 minutes. Looks scale too, and the funny thing is it even SOUNDS scale! The two outside props are dummy engines and just spin in the wind, but the fit kind of loose on the wooden shafts and vibrate while the spin. Oddly this sounds quite similar to a couple small 4 stroke engines, and really "feels" real as it goes by.
I haven't gone though the video from the flights, but my friend did post a vid of him chasing me with an f-14. I hope to have it covered and painted by the weekend.

                            • I finished this little EPP Pitts this weekend, and had a chance to maiden it this morning. It was quite a handful until I got it trimmed. Im not used to 3D, so there will be a bit of a learning curve, but it is super stable with the gyros and great with the 10x4.5 SF prop.
