B-17 and Pitts Python.

Had some family in town today so I took them to the field and showed off how much of a nerd I am. Surprisingly everyone had fan and spent most of the rest of the day asking questions and talking about the planes (I feel validated)lol

flew 7 planes today but only shot video of these two. B17 does a bomb drop. And the Pitts makes a second flight where I do a few stunts and test stall characteristics...

they can't all look good! lol
it didn't quite go straight on takeoff and was headed toward the "no fly zone" or as you may know it a fence!
Had to nail the throttle and pull back hard or else.

Well quick update, the bipe is getting close. Servos are in, motor mounted, control surfaces are mounted and good to go.
All I have left is to install the ESC, battery, receiver, mount the top wing, seal and paint it the air frame, and then maiden it.
Should be a fun plane if it works, though I’m not sure on a paint scheme or a name though. Any ideas?

Go the bipe buttoned up, and taxi tested yesterday. Works great and really wants to fly.
Still trying to decide on paint.

The nose kind of looks like a curtis jenny. But not nearly enough wing spars

finally figured out a paint job. not my best but then again, it's a pretty low budget build.
I may clean it up a bit after the maiden.
