Who in their right mind would decide that it would be ok to have a curb/tire barrier in the middle of a race track?

It's in city streets, might be part of the actual road that can't be changed.

I saw it is a street circuit, but that is still a bad idea. They can't have an obstacle in the middle of the track. 99 times people will avoid it, but one time is all it takes for someone to not see it.

Welcome to street circuit races! Go to the Houston Grand Prix this year and watch the concrete barriers get moved if you like crashes.

This is the roughest track ever. We were 18" off the ground with the indycar today....

We also got 23 minutes green out of our 1 hour final practice.

Ah Baltimore. The roads as well as the city is a complete shithole. Also responsible for being a city which contains the second most worst drivers in the nation.

I hope you saw the truck race today @ Mosport.... Looks like Mike Skeen's girlfriend slapped Max Papis, among other hilarity on/after the last lap.

I missed the entire race, except for the last lap and that slap after the interview. What led up to it? I saw the #6 and him wreck out on the last turn, but I have no idea what led up t it. I thought maybe she was Dave Chappelle fan.

I honestly don't know exactly what led up to that. I watched the last half of the race at a bar with no sound. Max and Mike were battling for 3rd and they both sailed-off in the same corner Ty Dillon got dumped. We were blowing-up his Facebook page, but he deleted the comments last night. I'll post-up when I get the full story!

I've watched open wheel cars for 25+ years and don't remember ever seeing an obstacle that divides the track like that one.
