I never searched for a 2WD, but I can say the 5.3L standard cab short bed 4x4 is as rare as hen's teeth.

FYI, I do have an extra set of NBS Z71 wheels I might be willing to part with. I initially bought them for my trailer and as spares (to match the truck), but don't know if I'll ever get to the axle swap on the trailer and swing out bumper for the Suburban.

They're not flawless, but not expensive either.
