Right-on-red legality question

I have gotten a ticket from that way back in 2008, apparently the Laredo cop that schooled me on the driving code is that its legal to take the turn from both turning lanes only if the lane you are turning from is a one way road.

i spoke to 2 cops i know and both said.............i have no idea. they would never pull anyone over for it and assume it is legal unless posted otherwise.

I see people do it every day at 820 and Rufe Snow with cops sitting in the parking lot watching them.

I wish the police at that intersection would FORCE the dip shits in the second right turn only lane to turn right. I am tired of sitting through that intersection with people trying to go straight in the right turn only lane.

This one in Frisco (North is up):



I was facing South on Frisco St, in the outside right turn lane (two right-turn-only lanes) waiting to turn right onto Main St. I said it was legal, she said she didn't think so, then changed her story to say it was legal there but if the outside lane was a straight AND right turn lane that it would be illegal. There's no sign stating you cannot do it, so I say it's legal.
