WTF, like what? The only think I usually wish is that I don't have a panic attack and that the stewardess' were all naked.

As long as the female one are naked, the hot ones are least, I am fine with that.

Southwest landings have always been rough in my opinion. I heard years ago that they primarily hired ex-military pilots because they were used to shorter runways. Damn pilots come in hot like they're going to snag an arresting wire to stop.

AMR has a lot of ex-military pilots too. I bet a good 30-50% of the pilots are (my father being one of them). It takes skills to get a smooth landing in on such a large aircraft.

Probably someone that didn't have their phone turned off while in flight.

A flight attendant nearly lost it when almost no one got off of their phone a while back. She started yelling "turn your blackberries, apples, bananas, blueberries, WHATEVER YOU HAVE, off.....NOW!" I couldn't help but laugh a little bit

I've always only flown Southwest. For me the landings never seemed too rough. However, every take off has felt like the pilot pulled up like he was trying to rip the controls out. That's fun as hell when you're sitting in the very back.

You guys should have seen American Eagle back in the day. They had a program where they would pay for your flight school if stayed with them for the first 5 years out. I always heard they made like 32k a year.

I can't believe anyone thinks a plane could take off from a treadmill (not moving).

The front landing gear of that plane punched upward through the floor into an electronics bay in the fuselage. I'll find the pic tomorrow.

That's not good pay, but it's a fun job and a killer offer. After staying with them for a while it'd be worth it for sure. I never heard about that!
