That is an awesome dyno chart. It looks like it hits VTEC around 5400rpm!

Surely he's after gas mileage, right?

And seriously LOL at 30 lb-ft at 2000rpm....

        a buddy had a stock 09 3lt z51 car and it weight in @ 3320 with fumes

your dad must have the lightest 3lt z51 car ever. unless his car is a 1lt.
its a 1SB, has every option available besides nav and onstar. Dunno if 5s are lighter than 3LT cars, but it has the same style heated seats and shit. It had half a tank in it and my 200 lb ass. I might have been 180ish back in 2005 when I raced it, I cant remember.

Edit, Also D, the car is an auto, but it does only have 4 gears which HAS to be lighter than a 6L80.

I like that kit with the circle tail lights...the camaro tail lights look terrible, IMO. I'm interested to see of they come out with a z06 in the next couple of years.

Pretty sure a Hoveround could lay down a better arc than that.....and better numbers too.

I did get curious to see what they dyno stock and ran across some "modded" dyno charts once. Pretty stupid if you ask me. They dyno about 85 to 90 stock, lmao. It was absolutely perfect for SF, best purchase I made my entire time there (other than lots of TSCO) . In all honesty, it isn't that bad here. It's a nice little reliable commuter that I don't have to give 2 fucks about. If it had side airbags I'd probably keep it - the next year model got them standard. I'd be fucked if I got hit in that thing. I have the little 2 door hatch at about 2250 lbs. For the record, I have got it to hit 60 in 9.5 seconds. Zoom zoom.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I like cars being "raw" to an extent. Now, they're so sophisticated, a 5 year old could drive them if it had long enough limbs.

A 5 year old would never pass a driving test to get a license, and if they could, they still wouldn't get the license. :P

Still not into the style. Not grabbin' the hatchback look.

It's all in the gearing, and not much different than getting used to a 6-speed after driving a 5-speed I'm sure. You just have to re-learn where each gear tops out at for downshifting at various speeds. As mentioned in the vid, 7th gear is more of an OD gear for the highway.
