Sucks they made it so heavy, other than that Im a fan.

Its 300+ lbs heavier than my C6 was, and 250 lbs more than my dad's loaded Z51 C6...

I think it's only 90lbs heavier than the out going c6. I think the test model was a fully loaded lt3 @3344. Not too bad considering the lightest c5 z06 is around 3100 +/- a few pounds depending on yr.

Meh... a few lbs is ok if the power is there and the car has the extras to overcome/make up for it.

Dad's car was 3420 with me in it... -200 lbs, and do the math. the video shows the C7 at 3444...

My FRC for comparision with me in the car was 3220 on stock wheels and runflats... almost 100 lbs less than my 08 (with the bottle out)...

3lt z51 was 3440 with 1/4 tank and the D1 which adds 100lbs if I am not mistaken..
with no driver ..
a buddy had a stock 09 3lt z51 car and it weight in @ 3320 with fumes

your dad must have the lightest 3lt z51 car ever. unless his car is a 1lt.
