Managed to fly the A-10 today and get some pictures. Flew great, still underpowered for my liking, but as far as an EDF trainer it's perfect. It's not very forgiving which is helping me ease up on the sticks. Ended up flying to long and lost thrust at a bad moment. A little hot glue and she was good to go again.

Went to the Denton Swap meet today, GREAT TIME! some real good deals, and some retardedly over priced crap all at the same time.
On a side note... Rotortrash, real good to meet you man, had a blast hanging out with you. Definitely looking forward to flying with you someday.
Now that that's out of the way, on to the booty!
I scored a sweet ass pair of biplanes.
first was this kick ass pitts, high end servo's powerful motor and tough as nails speed controller.

                and this beast.

                here's everything all together.

                and the bipes

Though I wish I could have afforded this bad ass.

Nice to meet you too! I ended up with one new airplane, (no photos, sorry) you got some nice airplanes! Definitely some decent deals in there today, seems like no one wanted to spend any money though.

I see you are now overflowing from the house into the garage.... Let me know when you want me to come clean out some of your "car part horde" so you can get more models in there...

Friend of mine hit me up to build a plane with him the other day,
A Lockheed L-133. The Jet that never was! The design was so far ahead of its time it would have changed the course of aviation had it ever flown. I recommend looking it up for a cool read.
                              Any way…
He offered to supply the power plant and electronics if I build the air frame. We are looking at doing single 90mm billet aluminum EDF, electric retracts and a 50 to 60 inch wingspan.
I started work last night on a rough draft, a 45” test mule to find center of gravity and maybe get some test flights with a pusher prop set up. I still have a lot of sanding to do but it’s already looking pretty good to me.
Here’s a peak into how easy it is to build an air frame.
