So very awesome. I'll never have the chance to do that for my Dad, but some day I will find a white ext/red int 66 Charger with a 383, and cruise the hell out of it in his honor.

Wouldn't mind tracking down my dad's old Dart 340 and getting that back to him. He sold it to a Desert Storm vet back in the early 90s. Guy brought it back a year later and showed him what he had done to it which, unfortunately, I did not see as I was at my mom's that weekend. His first car was a Corvair. Pretty sure nobody wants to see those again.

          Awesome!!

My dad sold his yellow '71 Mach 1 to get married. I've been wanting to do this for a long time.

Ya, dad built a street driven 12.5:1 350 with 5.33's. I imagine it ran good until about 90mph!

Thing looked pretty crusty but not past restorable.

Dont ever buy a car back after you sell it. Things are always better when you look back on them and nearly all cars get beat to crap after being sold

the kid sounded mentally challenged and was flapping his arms around, but he may just need a few beatings

That is probably one of the coolest things a son can do. This is an old one, but always worth a watch.

I would love to do that for my dad, but the finances behind buying a 69 390ci Mach 1 just aren't there. I'd have a better shot at running down my moms 64 galaxie 500xl that was sold to the doucebags at fast n loud.

Was that the red one with the 5.0?

No, it was the black one with the 390 and 4 speed. My mom drove it for years and is still pissed off that my grandad sold it.

That's my favorite car of all time. What was the color combo? Tri-power? 4 speed?
