  • For you audiophiles..

Lost all my old stuff in a house fire a while back, finally got around to getting back into my audio hobbyist side of things.

I wanted a decent reciever with bi amp campapbiltys. I picked up a yahmaha rx-v563.

And I snagged a full set of JBL northbridge speakers.

Used full 14ga wiring with gold banana plugs.

I need a bigger tv stand and tv but its a start.

I it's a 7.1 receiver but I don't have enough room in my apartment to run rear speakers so I bi amped the front towers and run a 5.1 set up with a 10 inch Harmon kardon subwoofer.

    Whatcha' guys think?

I think you should have saved your money since you won't be able to fully utilize that shit in an apartment. Good quality stuff, though. Is the subwoofer powered or passive?

Looks nice, but seems like a waste in an apartment.

Nice speakers, heard a set a month or so ago. Really liked how natural they sounded.
BTW, cute TV. Does it come in big boy size?
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

It costs total $700 after everything. Not bad IMO. Everything in like new condition too.

I agree I can't use it like I should but I'm set for when I move out.

              Neighbors don't care.

Is that a dildo outline on your pegboard?

use velcro instead of zip ties.

I did on the power cord and hdmi cables, but zip tied the speaker wires

They sound really nice but you can tell It needs to be in a bigger space. It was too good of a deal to not pick up. I had just gotten the receiver and found a set of yamaha towers and had those for about a week when I found the jbls on Craigslist. A guy upgraded and wanted them gone, the two large towers retail for $500 each. I got all 7 plus the sub for $400. Didn't even have to haggle.
