New to me free boat

My good neighbor has recently gotten sick. He had to sell his house due to health reasons, and I've been helping him a lot lately, so he gave me his boat. He didn't have anywhere to put it, and no time to try to sell it. Its a 1978 Ebbtide bowrider with a 140hp Evinrude. The motor does need some work right now though, the bottom piston is pretty chewed up on the top. Couple of misc things and it will be a pretty nice boat.

if you clean it up and. put a cow skin rug in it you would take choooo$ choooo$ to a whole new level.

If you can change the piston & fix the other stuff yourself, it's probably an OK deal...

If you have to pay someone else to do it, it'll cost almost as much as the whole rig is worth. I'd CL it and sell as is.

Guy in Hurst Rebuilt an Outboard for me a few years ago and It ran perfect until I sold the boat. He was cheap and a super nice dude.

Easy rebuild on that motor. If you can take it apart, you can put it back together. Parts are very reasonable.
