Nice pad, man. You should seriously get a cowskin rug though, it would be totally worth the photo op.

Nice house, and I agree that new construction has no character. I hate cookie cutter houses too. We are about to buy a new house and the cool thing about up here is that most houses here are at least 60 years old, even some in the late 1800's, but fully updated. I'm excited as well to get into a new "old" house.

Some nice neighborhoods over there, know a few folks that live there.
Just lock your shit up. The area around it sucks and they flow into the nice area to steal shit....
lol, sounds like all of dfw.

Guest repliedSuper nice man! Love the front door. I grew up in a house that was built in '78, and I've always loved the style of the late 70's early 80's before everything went overboard cookie cutter. I can tell just looking at it there is a fuckton of cash in the remodel, after the last house. lol If it hasn't been done already and you want to save yourself a ton of trouble, convert the pool to salt water. Also much nicer to swim in. A pool is the one thing I'm regretting the new house didn't come with, but when I'm balling out of control one day I'll probably have one built. Congrats, hope you enjoy it!
