Edit: and that is ALL suspension. The engine is just begging for you to put the foot down more at those speeds and still pulls like a motherfucker.
It can't be worse than a fox body.....

Route 95 in NV is pretty desolate as well, with a few sights to see. After heading NW out of Vegas, you run up along Area 51. After that you pass a drone facility. Then a tank artillery range (I've watched some cool stuff happen out there). There's large areas of nothing doused with random military installations all the way up to Sparks. Pretty cool drive.

We drove the entire Extraterrestrial Highway next to Area 51, saw the black mailbox, and stayed at The Lil A'Le'Inn. Ask Danny about the locked door. lmfao

At one point, we exited to do our driver switch. We were sitting there for about 15 minutes doing our logs and noticed a trail of dust coming towards us pretty fast from the east along a dirt road. About 1/2 mile out we realized that it was a white suv. We didn't stick around to chat.

            Nice!

We drove offroad up to one of the gatehouses. The waitress at The Lil A'Le'Inn told us how to find it. Looked abandoned, but I'm sure we were being watched by plenty of people. Hell, they're probably looking at all the weird porn on my computer right now.

I don't know why they tuned the suspension for the Grand Marquis bluehairs, but the entire suspension needs to be thrown away if you consistently get the car over 90.

That is no joke. The powerband and gearing in these cars makes them highway flyers.
              Exactly.
The first time I had my cobra over 100 with stock suspension on a not smooth or straight road, I figured out that it sucked. Springs and Tokiko Illuminas on 5 suck just driving around but at speed, it is great.

My wife and I rented a Mercedes E350 in Vegas. Had the cruise set at 140mph all the way up Hwy 95 from Laughlin. She had to poop after driving down Christmas Tree Pass. Great story.
