                    We're quickly becoming technologically stagnant. I don't think we are going to continue to come up with cool shit like that in the future or continue to advance what we know. The last big space thing we did was land a mini van on Mars. That's really impressive but I would like to see us actively working on putting living people on Mars.

                      I am still kinda bummed the shuttle program got shut down. Saw the Columbia twice. Once in Florida (STS-3) and another time during reentry across sky and it was not the bad one....

                          I think that it's all ROI now. It's not like the 60's where we were trying to prove a point. To do something just to say that we did it. Which is sad. Technologically we're definitely not stagnant, but just doing shit because it's awesome on a level like space travel is definitely not the cool thing to do anymore.

                            We didn't goto space to prove a point, we did it because the military funded it for obvious reasons. Military is funding medical advances now.
