  • Bench I made from old fence panels

I have a lot of old fence panels that was on my property when I moved in, so I decided to make a bench to sit by my fire pit. I think it came out pretty well for only an hour or so of work, and $0.

When I replaced my fence, it was so rotten, I couldnt even make a toddler version of that bench.

I was thinking that was for a doorway, but you may be right.

Looks damn good. I'll bet you could sell something like that for a pretty penny at First Monday Trade Days out in Canton, especially if you put one of those trendy adjectives like "repurposed wood."

I don't like the horseshoes, but I do like the bench.

Looks good, but I would think splinters might be an issue...

We used it Sunday night. Sat out by the fire pit drinking. It was pretty comfortable for being fence, haven't got a splinter yet but your prob right.

J/K - Looks nice. I'd happily get drunk sitting on it.

a table and bench i made from a few fence panels. AND my cowskin rug (got it from pottery barn ((industry discount)))

heres a potting table i made for the wife at the cost of $0 as well. it is recycled wood from a trailer that we re-floored at the fab shop, and a few drop pieces of angle and some other scrap metals we had "laying around".

this is a coffee table i made from an old shutter that i found in the rafters of the garage

*also notice the fireplace, that is just sch 40 scrap metal pieces with stringer beads ran down them to mimic wood, and there is a teed gas valve underneath. i never turn it on just b/c of the baby so i dont take better pics of it.
