I've got zero issues with giving to those that need it. My only concern with pan handlers is that I might be enabling them to not get real help. It's hard as hell to know what is right in that situation. Still I give. In the last couple of months I've filled the gas tanks of two total strangers. Gas prices are kicking the poor right in the balls. I used to be pretty damn poor so I know what they are going through.

I've started keeping fast food gift cards in my truck. I feel a lot better giving those out. At least I know that money will go in someone's stomach at some point.

There is a large portion of the population (read: recipient class) that have discovered voting in liberals/progressives means they'll get a long list of goodies from the government who takes the provisions for said welfare from the provider class.

I have no problem with giving to charity. I have a problem with the government taking my money and determining where my money needed to go. It's simply immoral.

We have raised an entire class of citizen that live off the confiscated earnings of another class of citizen. And color blind low information entitled voters like nay nay are making sure the provider class gets raped for all their worth.

There is no other way around it nay nay. You're either a liar or a thief as a liberal Obama supporter. You choose to support taking money from one class of citizen to give to another and either 1: lie and say "that's just paying your fair share" or 2: openly admit stealing from those that provide to give to those who don't earn.

That simple.

San Diego was as bad or worse, due to the more temperate climate. If I had to live outside, SD would be my choice.
