Yep. You just described the car to a T. He got the car id say end of jan or so, because i got the wagon not too long after him and that wwas very beginning of february. Has an e cam too I wanna say. And exhaust is now ran out of the ass. It was too loud for him.

Good! That dumped shit was rough.... I hated it. I built the car from the ground up with dumpycapri's tutelage. It was a fun car. Ended up being my daily driver from may 2012 til when i sold it. Hell, I ALMOST traded it for the very same wagon! Tell that kid to take care of her and don't sell it! Unfortunately for me it was a financial deal and the fact I was dailying a 31 yr old non ac car. Wife wouldn't let me take my 1 yr old in it. So, I now sit with a mild 97 f150 4wd. I shall have another fox... One day!

He won't sell it. I tried buying it from him when he rolled into town with it. If it gets sold it will be to me before anyone else. Its a sweet car I like it a lot, and is pretty damn quick. It'll eventually have a water meth setup on it my dad is working on building for him. But other than that he has no plans for it.

I sold the green GT because it wasn't practical for what I needed to use it for--hauling all of my pinstripe supplies around. I was afraid I was going to tear the interior all up hauling all that shit around in the back seat, plus the fact that it was a pain the ass (and back) to get the 3 box setup in and out of the back seat.

I sold the GT and bought the '66 Chevy pickup that I built and drove for a while.

Then I sold the '66 truck and bought the current project/money pit 1961 Nomad wagon. Plans have somewhat shifted from what they initially were to start out with on the wagon, so it is going to take a bit longer than originally anticipated before it is up and going, but it should be pretty nice when I can start driving it.

One question for you 4 eye guys, how the hell do you rebuild/fix the AC controls? I've googled my ass off looking for instructions but I can't find any. The main switch (vent/defrost/heat) works, but the compressor isn't kicking on, and it's got a full charge of freon (I can't remember what the at rest pressure is, I'll have to reattach the guages.) I guess the first thing I need to do is find out if I'm getting power out of the switch in the dash, then find out if one of the switches in the line has taken a shit.

You may check the a/c full throttle relay. I noticed EVERY once in a while, when I had the a/c on and was in the gas, the a/c would start blowing warm, then after a while it would go back to blowing cold.

A very few times it seemed to take a little longer to start blowing cold.

Where that is? I need to check the TPS readings in this thing anyway, it surges at idle like a motherfucker when you heel/toe brake. I noticed there are some pretty good sized notches cut in the sensor so I'll have to make sure it's reading correctly.

Might check the pressure switch n the accumulator. They go bad often.
