I sold the GT and bought the '66 Chevy pickup that I built and drove for a while.
Then I sold the '66 truck and bought the current project/money pit 1961 Nomad wagon. Plans have somewhat shifted from what they initially were to start out with on the wagon, so it is going to take a bit longer than originally anticipated before it is up and going, but it should be pretty nice when I can start driving it.

Aaron, I love this car dude, it's a blast to drive.
One question for you 4 eye guys, how the hell do you rebuild/fix the AC controls? I've googled my ass off looking for instructions but I can't find any. The main switch (vent/defrost/heat) works, but the compressor isn't kicking on, and it's got a full charge of freon (I can't remember what the at rest pressure is, I'll have to reattach the guages.) I guess the first thing I need to do is find out if I'm getting power out of the switch in the dash, then find out if one of the switches in the line has taken a shit.

A very few times it seemed to take a little longer to start blowing cold.

Where that is? I need to check the TPS readings in this thing anyway, it surges at idle like a motherfucker when you heel/toe brake. I noticed there are some pretty good sized notches cut in the sensor so I'll have to make sure it's reading correctly.
Edit: nevermind, Google is fucking AWESOME.
