Read where Phil publically proposed getting the surviving members back together with Zak Wylde filling in, but Vinnie wants no part of it. Sad. I'd love to go and see 30's/40somethings in the pit.
As far as his voice goes, it'd be interesting if he could keep up that intensity throughout a tour. Down was recording at XM back in the mid 2000's when I worked there and he was in REAL bad shape. He was so out of it he had two people escort him into the studio to sing one line, then he'd get helped back to his RV where he'd stay for an hour, come back and sing another line.. so on and so forth. Took hours for him to get through one song. Supposedly he was in such pain from neck and back problems he was on a cocktail of pain killers. It's no wonder he isn't dead.

His voice was completely trashed for awhile there. There's videos around of him singing Pantera songs with Superjoint or Warbeast or something and he sounds awful.

Vinnie holds a grudge against Phil and probably always will. Plenty of articles around about how Phil is more than willing to patch things up, but Vinnie won't even utter a word to him. Basically, he's a big fucking baby and is acting like a real sack of shit. Piss on him.

Yeah I don't see them getting back with Vinnie. Vinnie will never forgive him. It's a shame. It's music groups like them that never change with the tide of music, but stay true to their sound. I think the old members of Snot should get together with Phil and Rex.
